The goddess Ekhidna [mythology’s she viper] was half nymph, half snake, mother of all monsters and defender of vineyards. Our Ekhidna [Australia’s great nose echidna] is a truly remarkable creature; a spiny anteater with a hedgehog’s spikes, a kookaburra’s beak, a kangaroo’s pouch, a platypus’s feet, an elephant’s lifespan, and a great nose.
For some time now we’ve been searching for a bigger and better venue to allow us to take Ekhidna to the next level, and we can confirm that we are relocating our cellar door and restaurant to new premises.
Ekhidna Wines will be re-opening at a new venue in McLaren Vale on March 31.
We are currently hard at work renovating and “Ekhidnafying” our new home, and to assist us in this great undertaking we invite you to be part of it with us through the miracle of crowdfunding! Matt has put together a range of special packages that will blow your mind. Every dollar you contribute will help make a dent in the renovation expenses, and most importantly everyone involved will be part of the reopening with us. These packages are for our most devoted fans and are limited in number, so don’t mess around.
Everyone who participates will receive details of the location and will be invited to a private pre-opening party where we can express our thanks and celebrate in person.
