Vintage= 2017

Tasting Notes= This Grenache is made using fruit sourced from a singlesite in Blewitt Springs, McLaren Vale. Made using aunique small batch wine making technique to produce a wine of difference and expression. Showing intense varietal character a rounder fuller midpalate and a soft long supple finish. The fruit was crushed straight to a puncheon with its head removed. It went through alcoholic fermentation in oak on skins. The head was then replaced and the wine, skins and all were left to complete MLF and mature for 156 days before pressing and the same barrel refilled for maturation. The wine has ripe red berry fruit aromas of raspberry, strawberry, red plum and cherry and hints of white pepper. The palate is soft and round with medium to body, intense fruit flavours of strawberry compote, red plums and raspberry red cherry. The finish is long and soft with sweet red fruits and white pepper carrying through on savoury fine tannin.
